The Gen 4 XRS combo kit has been engineered and exhaustively tested to give the mighty XRS better comfort and dramatically improved, flatter cornering in the groomed trails. When installed at zero preload, the front bumper is lowered about 3” which flattens out the A arms to reduce or eliminate inside ski lift. Softer tender spring allows improved comfort AND carbide traction in the corners often with reduced bar effort. The stronger main rate takes over just below sag to reduce body roll and reduce bottoming. If you think you need more ground clearance for a weekend of mogul bashing with no groomer in sight, no problem, just add preload front and centre and extend your limiter strap… DONE. This is how an XRS SHOULD work!!! We highly recommend correct torsion springs for your weight and an adjustable limiter strap for fine tuning ski bite and bar effort.
